Registration

By signing up on our website, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of sale of Lou Gourmand Ltd, which apply to all purchases made on our website or by telephone with a member of our staff. One condition in particular is that you must be the end user of all products and services you purchase with us and no resale should be done in any way without prior written consent from a Director of Lou Gourmand Ltd. The information you have provided will be kept in our database and will not be disclosed to any third party. It is your responsibility to ensure that this information is kept up to date and that the username and password required to log in to the website are kept secure. If you change address, we would be grateful if you could update your account and also send us an email.

Purchase

Orders can be made either online at www.lougourmand.com or by telephone at 01773 765 350 until 12:30PM on the day of the delivery. A confirmation email will be sent to your address with the detail of the order and the amount paid.

Payment is made online using our secure system provided by PROTX. We will ask you to sign a receipt on delivery.

All our receipts include VAT and our VAT registration number GB 880 6257 07.

Delivery outside our current area

All our prices are inclusive of delivery, which has been calculated against a level of business along an optimised journey. If you live outside our delivery area, we suggest that you contact us and we will make our best to help.

Delivery

All goods are delivered with a refrigerated van and can be kept in the fridge up to 3 days for fresh food. When the cooked products are suitable for home freezing, the instructions will be written on the label. For orders made for several days, each day’s delivery will be made separately, unless special instructions have been given through the comment section of the ordering page.

We will expect you to be available to take delivery of the products at the time specified in the membership registration or from a time specified in the comments for your order. If for any reason the delivery fails, we will contact you at one of the phone numbers provided to rearrange the delivery. If the delivery failed and we were forced to significantly extend our journey to rearrange, we may charge you an extra £5 for the new delivery.

We are not able to deliver on weekends and bank holidays at the moment; all orders made for these dates will be delivered on the Friday afternoon before.

Products

Unless otherwise specified, the meals you ordered are cooked on the day to be delivered. As we don’t use any artificial preservatives in our cooking process, our meals have to be used within 2-3 days of the delivery, provided that it has been kept chilled at all times.

We cannot take any responsibility if chilled food has not been stored chilled after delivery and before consumption. The products delivered may contain traces of nuts due to food processing.

Cancellations and returns

As an online retailer we are governed by the UK Distance Selling Regulations; however as we are selling perishable goods, the regulations relating to unwanted goods do not apply directly to us. Where possible, we will make all efforts to accept your cancellation when made at least 24 hours prior to delivery. No cancellation can be accepted less than 24 hours from delivery.

If you are not fully satisfied with the quality of the food delivered or you have been delivered the wrong product, you should contact us immediately by phone on 07877197560 and we will arrange for replacing the item with the least delay free of charge.
